Welcome to Econoquest
The concept behind Econoquest is to provide a framework and umbrella through which quantitative economic research, scenario modelling and policy design work can be undertaken. The company has a full-fledged annual macroeconomic model of the South African economy, which is placed in a Scenario Modeller interface to enable assessments and comparisons of economic effects to be made.
In its economic research initiatives, Econoquest brings together teams of specialist economists and econometricians, both academic and in practice, to best address any research project. Econoquest co-ordinates such research projects and serves as a channel through which individual researchers can combine to provide economic research services on a paid basis.
