Economic Research

The company is committed to improving economic progress through quantitative economic research, scenario modelling and policy design. Although operating on a paid research basis, and seeking to recover costs and provide researchers with fair remuneration for their work, it does not seek to operate on a full commercial basis, and is willing to take on research projects which offer lower revenue levels than would be contemplated by fully commercial organisations.
The company will bring together researchers with the required knowledge and expertise, in a combined and integrated manner, to address the research needs of a client or project. Researchers include those drawn from universities, research institutes, and other research and specialist organisations.
Some initiatives being pursued are:
Research relating to SME financing and how this can be improved to promote the benefits of SMEs to the economy
The credit provision process in banks and other financial institutions and the policies and internal credit assessment methodologies which would enhance the benefits of credit to the economy.
Financial stability and the quantitative relationship in banking balance sheets which can give rise to financial instability and crisis situations
